I take photos of the restaurants. Especially if I go to one I haven't been to before. When I was in Houston, Texas, the Chipotle I was eating at was the #1 Chipotle in the Houston market. Which is kinda cool, since the one I eat at every day in Maryland is #1 in the whole US. Superlatives impress me. The book I mention (Syndrome X ) is REALLY GOOD. I have it here at my desk, and I read from it every day. I use it as a reference to keep me on track. I honestly thought I might get bored of the burritos after a couple months, but it hasn't happened yet. Thank God! Before I started dieting, Chipotle was my favorite place to eat. I made adjustments to the menu items to make it low-carb, and it tasted just as good as if I hadn't made any changes at all. So I tried it. I'm actually eating healthier than I ever have at any time in my life. Everything I eat is made fresh with whole, natural, organic ingredients. Even the meat is antibiotic-free, hormone free, from free-range chickens, and vegetarian fed animals. After I lost about 50 pounds, I had so much energy, I just had to do something with myself. So, I started working out. Now I exercise anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week. I got rid of my sleep apnea. And at my last doctor appt., the nurse took my blood pressure and actually said "congratulations". I never heard something like that from a medical professional before. I haven't been sick since I started eating this way. Not even once... and I used to be sick ALL THE TIME. Even my dental hygienist was astounded by the health and hygiene of my teeth. She (and the dentist) we practically fawning all over me about the improvement. They weren't surprised when I told them how my diet has changed. Even my teeth are healthier!
Sorry for going on and on. I'm just so excited about the way things are going for me now. Now wearing size Medium, -Eric, the Chipotloser
